I know how she feels - they've only got to get something on John Noakes, Peter Purves, Noel Edmonds and Chris Tarrant and that's my entire childhood spent watching peadophiles on TV!

I only need Cliff Richard to complete my 7 paedo accumulator with William Hill.

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.

Now the police have completed an investigation into Lord Janner and believe that he should stand trial for multiple cases of serious sexual offences on children.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-32329924

The CPS will not prosecute because he has severe dementia which makes him unfit to stand trial. His condition is apparently "rapidly becoming more severe". "His evidence could not be relied upon in court and he could not have any meaningful engagement with the court process" the CPS said.

<Swearyrant> Yet, despite not being capable of engaging in the court process, he continues to be a member of the House of Lords, and it apparently fit to formulate this country's legislation. <Swearyrant>

I wonder if he'll make a remarkable recovery (a la Ernest Saunders) now that charges have been dropped?

My thoughts exactly.
Thanks DD I was racking my brain trying to remember who it was used that particular excuse back in the day.

Looking back with a little hindsight, I suspect sir might have acted a little inappropriately on occasion.
