BPA's 5 Year Strategy
« on: 27 November, 2014, 10:52:03 AM »
Just seen a reference to this on Twitter - my comments in Red

Quote
To achieve excellence in parking, the BPA has identified the following objectives; -

Putting the consumer at the heart of our thinking
(i.e. thinking about how much more cash we can extract)

Developing our membership and delivering better value
(i.e. more members = more membership fee income for ourselves and, perhaps, higher extraction rates for our membership)

Informing and influencing Government
(i.e. actually disinforming Government and lying to them whilst attempting to influence them to let us continue our rapacious activities)

Building a consensus with all stakeholders
- except those that genuinely have motorists' interests at heart

Promoting innovation, technology and sustainability
(i.e. We want to find more innovative ways of screwing the motorist using ever more devious measures that will ensure ever more income)

Making parking a recognised profession
- in much the same way as there are said to be "professional" thieves and burglars?

From the same source we see the BPA's values, namely
Quote
P R I D E

People and Partnerships
Respect with Responsibility
Integrity and Innovation
Drive and Determination
Encouraging Excellence

The authors seem to have overlooked the fact that PRIDE goes before a FALL - I will leave it to my fellow members to expand the latter.

I'd say that they're not doing very well on Integrity either - unless their Dictionary has a different meaning to mine.

Thank you very much. I don't mind if I do.    <Hatoff>

Our Vision

To rip the shit out of this cash cow and milk it dry

Our Mission

As the recognised authority in Prevarication   Ambiguity     Repulsive   Kleptomania    Ignorance    Nonsense    Guile the Bullshit Purveyors Association will actively deceive the Public and government, maintain the low standards we have sunk the industry into and engineer scams for the benefit of ourselves and our scumbag members.

Values

Weasel values are at the heart of the BPA's same old strategy and we have summarised these values as PRIDE, containing the following key aspects.

PRIDE

Prevarication and pretence
Reprehensible and rotten
Insidious and indirect
Devious and dishonest
Embezzle and exaggerate

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.

Regarding growing their membership list, it's actually going the wrong way. There have been several defections to the equally discredited IPC. These include UKCPS, VCS and Perky's company. Soon the BPA will just consist of Parking Eye and a handful;ll of small companies .

The NoToMob's 5 year strategy concerning the injustices being heaped on motorists by the BPA Ltd and its peers is summed up in two words:

STOP IT
WE ARE WATCHING YOU
