Could anyone with a detailed understanding of the rules regarding the application of v.a.t please PM me, with a view to further discussions? I'd like to consider some ideas but don't know the applicable regulations and we need to research this before seeing if there's any action to be taken.

Someone perhaps running a small business or with accountancy leanings would probably be ideal, but that's by no means exclusive.

If I am correct in my view, there could be a seriously unpleasant outcome for some parking companies, but I need to understand a bit more about the workings of v.a.t to ensure we approach this correctly. Any knowledgeable advice would be gratefully received.
