Hi peeps,

Still not heard from anyone, but no matter, Just has a little chat to a scar today and he packed up for the day at my place very quickly.    Plus he is going to see if there is another place he park up to can do his camera thing here, as he said, showing bedroom windows on camera is not a good idea. Plus, if anyone parks in the driveway to the gates, they will not be ticketed, they are only interested in the bus stop, next stop for me is now TFL, to ask why they put a bus stop over a driveway?  All fun and games.

Jojo, you may have sorted 1 scar driver, but you may find that others will still park in the same place. When the park opposite they are out of the way, and cant be seen (visable deterrent, dont think so  ).

For them to park anywhere else at your location, will mean they are seen, and that will mean less PCN's. And as some drivers feel they need to issue PCN's so you maybe better going to the council. Or talking to each driver when they turn up.

If you do talk to each driver, try to get video evidence

Hey Pep,

Well that first scar driver warned him about me, he thought I was polite, but....  I know they will keep coming back, but when you guys are at work or chasing another scar, I will do what I can.  Amasing what happens though when you put on the charm  teehee, had him out of the scar chatting away not doing his job for a good hr , yep, he turned the recording off,  shhhh.....they're not meant to have chin-wags about motorbikes with the resident females 
But Will try getting video evidence next time. And the council, mmmmm They know me rather well  at the moment.

Looking at those pictures my first thought is 'How long are the buses on that route?'

If they are shorter than the bus stop, which looks rather long for single buses to me, but not long enough for 2, then a query to the council about them putting in a bus stop which is over size and causes obstruction of access to businesses and residents, including disabled?

I changed the first picture to better show the length of the bus stop. It extends from the right hand end of the bus shelter back to the gate as shown in pictures one and two. At least one and a half bus lengths...

...but not as long on the buses on this route.

There are only three buses an hour at that stop.

Another Bexley council trick is to put bus stop markings alongside pedestrian refuges so that when a bus is stopped no car can get past.

@NotEvenALondonRider  I've contacted TFL and as per usual waiting on a reply, as with the council too. But that access was there before the new layout of the bus stop, so I expect it to take some time for them to figure out a reasonable answer.

Now sorry Jojo for taking over your topic. 

 But some may, and some may not know Bonkers who posted here in responce to Jojo's story. 

Bonkers and his team have helped me a lot and his blog pages are worth a visit if you want to know whats going on in Bexley.

And before anyone asks, Bonkers has been invited on a schunt and offered a ride on a bike, and he has told me his biking history ain't great, so two wheels ain't his first choice now. (also, he has had a go at tracking scars on a Saturday once using a bus  ).

Now Bonkers is not new on here, he has been watching for a while.

And i have not even met him..... but that is all changing as he is going to met us all Saturday morning when we meet for Martin before $CHUNTING.
