What do you guys think?

Please don't be afraid to criticise.

Always remember, the worst I can do is run you down next time I see you. :-ev-: :rotfl:

We need something on the main page... a history of $CHUNTING, how we came from and are still part of the ntbpt, pictures, videos. We need to get ppl excited and looking at a forum for most wont do it. They need all the information there in 1 place, then if they want to know more, they can jump in to the mad world of the forum, and know what the eck we are talking about.

Understood guys. Will work on it.

In the meantime how about this for the signs we hold out to warn motorists?

"Warning" is better IMO

Honestly guys, I will never take it personally.  Just pm me your addresses and I will come round personally to thank you for your input. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I will explain why I think LOOK is better than BEWARE, and if you still insist that BEWARE is better I will happily change it.  In fact I will put the BEWARE option up shortly so that you can choose and print off the one you think is better.

My reasons are thus:

1.  $chunters have been approached on more than one occassion and asked if we're working with the blokes operating the scars. The conclusion I drew from that was because BEWARE is often seen on official signs. On the other hand LOOK! doesn't, and consequently any confusion is lessened. Adding the $ to camera also takes away that official look.

2.  I have always been aware that the motorist has only a few seconds to work out what the hell is going on when they see a mad biker in a V Mask standing on a corner holding a sign. I therefore thought that less is more.

3.  BEWARE has 6 letters and therefore the typeface has to be that much smaller. Consequently approaching motorists cannot see what the sign says until they are closer (I've seen many a motorist squinting to work out what our signs say) and therefore the time they take to suss up the situation is increased if they have a larger typeface to look at.

4.  Further confusion will be avoided if the person holding the sign is actually pointing at the scar. so in conclusion I thought LOOK $CAMERA CAR with a masked biker pointing to the scar would make it quicker for everyone to work out what was going on.

Then again I've been known to be wrong, but I'll give the new version a bit of a run out soon and report back on the results.

Stay cool 8) (don't forget to pm me those addresses ;) )

For me, I like the "LOOK" sign, the fewer words to read the better

Edit: I mean that in comparison to what I use right now.

Ok, thanks for that BE, can i put my pennys worth in the pot.

Yes, fewer letters, larger print, great, all for it.

But....my only worry would be using the word LOOK, we are inviting drivers to 'look', like playing eye spy whilst driving, when they need to looking at the road ahead, remember the $camera cars hide!!

If using the word WARNING, or BEWARE, its just that. Or am i being anal.

Short sharp and to the point! You should be LOOKING whilst you are driving and observation is top priority so to see a sign saying LOOK, then you are halfway there. As we have observed before keep it simple and to the point. Hope this helps

I vote for beware.

If people come up to us and think we're working with them, it just gove us an excuse to start talking [s:gf5rp5mq]at[/s:gf5rp5mq] to them and tellingthem who we are and what we're up to.   A good ol' conflab is always good IMO.

I got a couple pronted out the other day that say 'BEWARE' and '$CAMERA CAR' on it.   I'm gonna stick them on to some cardboard to get them all sexy ready for my next mission (it's been tooooooo long).

Also, on the handouts, maybe have something that points out that we are volunteering our services - i.e. not costing the tax payers any money, unlike the cars.

I'm thinking about taking your blurb and sticking it on the back of the 'WANTED' card.  Would that be cool?

How about it starts "Freely volunteering our time to expose the hypocrisy behind the use of CCTV for parking enforcement and traffic violations."?

And yes. It would be cool thanks.

could also have something on the back indicating you don't need to be a biker to help/be involved.

We all need to be recruitment officers.

We are currently putting together some sort of mission statement that might do the job. Please bear with us, but for now maybe something with nothing on the back will perhaps bridge the gap?

I will speak to Web Admin tomorrow about when we will be ready to roll out the rest of the site.  Once everything is set to go we will finalise the fliers so they have a front along the lines they are now, and a back that has our mission statement on.
