Plus, where can you place a ticket on a motorcycle without it getting blown away or nicked, especially as it says to display ticket inside windscreen, and my old motorcycle does not have a windscreen?

I went to Medway a while ago and phoned the council before I left to ask whether I could park my bike at the end of a pay and display bay or a residents bay, like we are allowed to do in other areas. "Oh no!" said the very helpful chap on the phone. "What you should do is buy yourself a spare tax disc holder, fix it to your bike and then place a pay and display ticket in it."

Needless to say I didn't do this and instead found the nearest piece of private land where I could park out of the way without fear of getting a ticket.

I'd like to see them try to make a PCN for not having a Tax Disc displayed, since there's no longer any legal requirement to do so!
