Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

Nice pics MG. I love the one of Pat holding out the sign that just says "Beware".

I've met him and I'd say that's pretty good advice :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thank you to all who attended today and all of those who were there in spirit only because it was not possible to get their bodies along to join the fun.

I get the feeling we are making more and more friends out there, and the goodwill and thanks we get will only increase as time go on.

It was great fun rolling down Twickenham High Road just as the schools turned out 100s of impressionable young people. I wonder how many added "Riding a motorbike in convoy" to their list of ambitions when they saw the bemasked NoToMob roll into town.

An excellent turnout - For a weekday afternoon.

A total of 17 (i think) masked riders arrived. It was amazing to hear all of the revving engines and horns beeping as they all arrived. Even the council staff were at the windows watching.

Having attempted to discover in advance where everyone would be able to park I was told that those in power had deserted their posts, and would not return until tomorrow morning!

Finally, I was informed by a council official that it would be o.k. for all the bikes to park on the pavement. I thought that was ironic as I had been originally booked by the $camera car for doing just that myself.

After all of the photographs had been taken and interviews conducted we all went to a pub (for coca cola and coffee) by the river. Again the bikes parked on the very wide pavement. Whilst everyone was inside a CEO appeared.

I approached him to ask if it was o.k. to park there. No he said! When I pointed to the crowd of NoToMOB emerging from the pub his face dropped and he said I think it will be alright!

Thanks to everyone for coming down. Let us hope that it concentrates Richmond's mind on the Refunds issue.

I will post links to the News Stories as soon as they are available.
