"Following the completion of two trials, it has been decided that motorcycles will be given permanent access to bus lanes on the majority of the Capital's red routes from 23 January 2012."

All we need now is for blanket ruling so we know where we stand, not having to check every Bus Lane for restrictions!

At least it gives us bikers some independant research in our favour to counter the arguments of the likes of the LCC.

I've written to Ealing to see whether they are planning to reinstate bikes in bus lanes, and asking for the figures on pedal cycle accidents before and after the ban...
