A little bird told me...
« on: 29 August, 2011, 11:45:40 AM »
...that Tesco pay/paid £60,000 for the creation/use of the loading bay.  This supports what South London Press said: "a council spokesman claims this bay was created following an agreement with Tesco”.

So they big boys who can afford to pay, get the privileges but what about the little guy who has a corner shop? Is this legal?

Anyway, have put in an FOI via Whatdotheyknow to get the agreement, emails and invoices.

Hmmmm very interesting indeed, the plot thickens.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"
