The Wright Stuff
« on: 08 September, 2011, 05:39:04 PM »
I'm talking to them on Monday 11:20am and going on air shortly thereafter.  They are running:

1 x Five (plus narrative repeats)
1 x Playweek on Fiver
7 day catch-up on Demand Five

"Reputationally damaging?" Surely, not... :rotfl:

On your doorstep: CCTV Cars

Five times as many parking tickets are issued now as they were 10 years ago – so could the traffic warden on wheels be to blame? Councils are employing people to drive Smart cars with CCTV cameras around, to spy on people parking – and send them tickets in the post. Cars cost £40,000 but earn around £180,000 each in fines. Kirsty hits the streets to see what you think about this.

Such a shame that they seemed to trivialise a very important matter so quickly. I notice Esinem got his favourite "Blood money" quote in though. It's an important point that councils should devote more attention to in my opinion

I honestly hope it never comes to pass though. It would be a dreadful way of getting our point across. :(

Perhaps Esinem and I should again lobby Cllr. Rowley to come out $chunting with us some day so that he can see what we do. Maybe then he would understand the importance of what Esinem is saying. :bashy: :bashy: :bashy:

It was good that Esinem got the opportunity to give his view, would have been better if they then discussed it a bit though.

And I agree with BE, they did trivialise, but it was good to see NoToMob plastered over the screen whilst Esinem was speaking, it's still good getting this opportunity, so we should all take the positives.

Well done Esinem  :aplude: :aplude: :aplude: :aplude:
