CAMPAIGNS

Tom Conti is on the board of the London Motorists Action Group ("LMAG"), which has been set up to campaign for fair enforcement of parking and similar regulations.

London Motorists Action Group set up in November 2005 under the chairmanship of Lord Lucas of Crudwell and Dingwall acts in the interests of both individual and commercial motorists, and of businesses affected by unjust enforcement practices.

The LMAG plans to fight the clamping of vehicles, the towing of vehicles for trivial contraventions, the increase in the congestion charge, the extension of the zone into west London and TfL's rigid approach to payment and penalty charges.

LMAG also pledges to fight the growing number of fines dished out by spy cameras and the operation of parking rules without regard to the interests of retailers and their customers.
