"Coming to a street near you" (if you live in Bedfordshire)
« on: 17 November, 2011, 02:06:22 PM »
Perhaps they should have looked at the NoToMob site before they invested in these "reputationally damaging" machines.

I just love the bit where it says "The PCN is then sent through the post directly to the registered owner/keeper of the vehicle - saving time and money." Whose time and money?

And they seem so proud to make this announcement. It's almost like they actually MEAN that it's all about safety and not about the money. They will unfortunately learn the hard way that the public aren't as stupid as they like to think.

Someone has said, hey have you heard how much we can rob the motorist for with those $camera cars, so without any research they add themselves to the NoToMoB to do list.
They want to believe the s**t they spout, Either they dont read the papers, or they do and they are perhaps challenging the NoToMoB

I have added a comment to the article. At least the people of Bedfordshire deserve to be warned that this has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with money.

Yeah cos postage is free to councils when posting PCNs over and above the wages they are already paying CEOs who could slap them on windscrens. They really are stupid. :bashy:

At risk of stating the bleedin' obvious, it's easy:-
1. $car can cover the whole town in a couple of hours using 1 CEO to drive it
2. Use 1 CEO to view footage & issue PCNs (optional as you could use the one who drives)
3. Sack the other (say) 10 CEOs who are now not needed.
4. Trouser the money you would have paid the sacked CEO's.
