WOW!
Bruce, I take my hat off to you sir.  :aplude:

To have them admit in writing that they accept how confusing that junction's signage is, is priceless mate.

Damn,

If we succeed and close all the honey pots down, what would we all do??????

oohh, I'm sure we could find something to do, if the great leader WCC are making this type of monumental cock up, I wonder, could it be possible that other councils do the same  :-ev-: :-ev-:

Are you mad BH? You of all people should know from "working on the inside", that we will NEVER close all the honeypots down. Experience tells me that what will occur is another "Golden Goose" will be created!
Simply erect a few extra misleading signage areas and hey presto another treasure chest is created. This will be an evolutionary process to keep the motorbiker in sport for many a year to come. On the upside, it will give you plenty of time to get your full bike licence as this is a long term war not a one off battle amigo!

A despatch rider mate of mine has just told me the signs in Lower James Street have been changed today. The new signs prohibit a left turn from Lower James Street into Brewer Street. You must now go straight on down Sherwood St if exiting Golden Square from Lower James Street.  :pmsl:

The signed declaration of surrender:

From Westminster City Council's press office...

Martin Low, Westminster’s city commissioner for transportation, said: “We work hard to ensure our roads have clear and relevant signs and markings and I’d like to thank Westminster’s enthusiastic local parking campaigners for assisting us by bringing this matter to our attention.

“We acknowledge the road signs at this location are not as clear as they should be and we are currently reviewing them. We have suspended moving traffic enforcement on this particular cross roads.”
