Clanger mode has engaged again. Need help please.

Can anyone tell me a free to use, and more importantly EASY to use download that will convert mp3 files to wav files please.

I downloaded something from tucows but couldn't make it work.

Might be a bit late for you now.... 

I generally use Quicktime pro but that's pay for.
The other really easy to use app is Audacity FREE... Win7 on my laptop.

Simply open Audacity.
Browse the system for the MP3 and it loads into the player.
Select export and save as type (see pic)

It converts to MP3 but requires additional software which isn't free
but for MP3 to WAV it's free



Here's one I just did.. took about a minute open - load- export - save.

If anyone needs a good app for re-touching photos or creating your $chunting signs ADOBE have released CS2 for download and it's FREE Sometimes you take a photo and it's a bit dark or colour is wrong due to sodium streetlights etc..


Pretty good for almost anything including avatars..

On the ADOBE download page there is no information about use...
I posted the link in good faith seeing as there is no information other than the files and the Serial Numbers for Mac & Win.
This software is 7 years old so for Mac users you need a PowerPC Mac. And Win users will probably need Windows XP.

I've got Adobe CS on my old iMac all bought and paid for, so this is handy for me if it works on my Win7 laptop.
I'm downloading it now and will try it out so hopefully it works as I'm using a really old Photoshop Elements on the laptop that came bundled with a Canon Scanner 10 years ago. On that basis I would think it should be OK with Win7.

Don't forget to save the SERIAL NUMBER for the product you download.. ie the numbers on the right... 1130-1414-7569-4457-6613-5551

The Adobe CS2 is working on the Windows 7 Laptop...  :dancing:

I've used Photoshop and Imageready..

CS2 System Requirements

    Mac OS X v.10.2.8–v.10.3.8. PowerPC® G4 or G5 processor
    Microsoft® Windows® 2000/Windows XP. Intel® Pentium® III or 4 processor

It's old software and hopefully will not be chasing anyone for using it...
It works OK and it's handy to have and learn before paying for the latest release as the month trial you can download is nowhere long enough to learn even some of the basics.
