Made me chuckle
« on: 08 March, 2012, 03:38:00 PM »
Whilst just messing with my computermabob on the interweb thingy as you do, I found this that some one had posted on another forum and it made I chuckle, so I thought I would pass it on.

We should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort:
As the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war.
This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany.
The shame will always be with us.  :rotfl:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

Reminds me of:

We should remember the tremendous contribution of the NoToMob in the war on unlawful enforcemet activities. As the BBC pointed out we bravely campagined hard. The actions of Terry Powell who, on the declaration of unlawful enforcement immediately left his post and his Directorship at the BPA and pissed off to Somerset. The shame will always be with Him.

That made me chuckle!
