I dug out an old PCN from lovely Camden from 2007, which they kindly let me off after a little bit of discussion. Here are the details:

And this is Camden kindly letting me off after I asked them which part of left I didn't take prior to safely doing a legal u-turn



Back in the old days when you only had to right 3 letters to get them to find their brains!

In actual fact it seems that you did turn left but then carried out a u turn.  so unless there is a sign that you passed that states no u turns you did not do anything wrong.
