A query re Gatso cameras

Anyone know anything about certification of these cameras, and/or whether there is a minimum pixel rating etc?

I believe that Gatso's are Home Office "approved devices", and that because the actual cameras are movable between the roadside housings, they have to be calibrated every time they are moved. I'm afraid you'll have to find someone with more knowledge than me regarding pixels.
