I bought my own, ahem, McDogalds meal (cheeseburger and small fries) out of curiosity to test the theory. It's in the garage and I last checked on it about three weeks ago. Nothing in there had grown any mould, fungus or any other type of visible bacteria.
It's nine months old now! Bear in mind there's (supposedly) meat, bread, cheese, ketchup, pickles, onions and potatoes. Not a bit of mould anywhere. Curiously, the paper bag is completely greasy like it's been soaked in oil!
As the man in the video says, "If the fungus is not eating it then maybe we shouldn't be eating it."
Can't argue with that.
