Signs, signs, everywhere a sign
« on: 20 July, 2013, 08:44:53 PM »
Except where you should exit.
Now many years ago I thought the Australian sign system was beaut. It was.
The English signs were woeful, and still are.

The Australian dummies decided to adopt in some places stupid signs.

Today I was following the M25 signs, except at a major roundabout (French invention gladly adopted by the Aussies), up to the roundabout there were signs a bit obtuse, but at the roundabout it pointed to local 'tom's shoes', 'bills big thing',; NO MENTION OF M25............... duuuuuhhh?
So wrong turn; it is OK if I got it right, the signs told me M25 ahead, if not, should have been a local.

What is the point of signs to a local, they know ehere they are going.
