Setting the record skewiff

On page 2 of parking news, Trickus awaits the findings of the transport select committee and explodes some parking myths. Like the myth that parking enforcement delivers a surplus for authorities. More myths include links between parking charges and the impact on high streets and that local authorities are using their enforcement powers to generate revenue. Trickus was quick to point out that "it's all about managing congestion and everyone benefits from that." (Apart from the poor councils of course. They don't even make a surplus so they don't benefit in any way.)

In other news David Icke has a theory that the parking industry is populated by a reptilian race from the constellation Draco. Icke was quickly dismissed as a crackpot when he said they appear human.

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.
