Gr8 stuff :P

shame the NTBPT doesn't get more of a mention with the court case coming up and funds needed.....could have been good publicity for the cause.

Lee Rowley, cabinet member for parking, said: “We work hard to ensure our roads have clear and relevant signs and markings and it is great to see members of the public helping us to be as clear as possible with this. I’d like to express my thanks to those people who have pointed out where we could be clearer which, in turn, is helping to ensure Westminster Council provides an even better service for everyone.”

Oh how that must have hurt... :dancing: :dancing:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

Especially after

Quote
Cllr Lee Rowley, Westminster council's cabinet member for parking, said: "Given the current tough economic climate we welcome all volunteers who want to do their bit in the community, but our CCTV cars are already clearly marked to make them visible to the public so I'm not sure that this is the best use of the motorcyclists' time.

"We'd be more than happy to put them in contact with one of the many hundreds of good causes in Westminster that would welcome volunteers and additional support."

plus his comments that the signage in St martin's Lane was perfectly legal (but, if so, why did they change it?)

Well, they don't call Rowley 'The Bullshit Kid' for nothing.

Perhaps if he spent less time trying to look like Jedward, and more doing his job, then citizens wouldn't need to their job for them.

"I’d like to express my thanks to those people who have pointed out where we could be clearer which, in turn, is helping to ensure Westminster Council provides an even better service for everyone.”
Better service? Couldn't get any worse.

I bet he had to work hard to keep the irony from that statement... wonder if he's unclenched yet?

Nice one Shunters!

Another one for my press cutting collection of all NoToMob  :dancing:

Well done everyone. But we still need to spread the word.

We want all the money paid back  :-ev-:

If we are really lucky, a national paper  may pick up the story and run with it over the weekend  :-ev-:

(edit: Just emailed a few papers, you never know  :-ev-:)
