And you can't blame the people already punished for moving out of the way of an emergency vehicle, saying they'd never move out the way again.  They do what is absolutely the right thing, but still get bashed for doing so.

I had to move out of the way for a police car with its "blues and twos" on at the top of Grapes Hill in Norwich which is at a roundabout.  There was nowhere for me to go but on the roundabout as thier were cars to my left.  So I stopped on the central reservation to let the police car through, I was never pursued or even given a fine of any kind.

Doing so may have been illegal, however, I only did it to let the police car through, and no other.  Thus in my view, I did the right thing.
It's not "enforcement", it's "extortionate"!
