"Now, a new law means that smartphones in California will be required to come with a "kill switch" to render them useless if lost or stolen"

I'm not father Christmas, what happens if three or four are stolen at the same time, how am I supposed to be in all these places at once.

Over 3 million stolen phones a year equals 1 every 10.5 seconds.

Perhaps you need to negotiate a deal with Santa to hire out his sleigh and reindeer.  <Donald>

I always thought it was the north pole, but I could be wrong. I wrote to him last year and guess what? Instead of a Ferrari I got a hammer drill.

Maybe I got the post code wrong. <_>

Maybe I'm being obtuse, but if the phone has been lost/stolen, how the f**k do you operate the "kill switch"?

Apple phones can be located and erased over the cloud. I suppose the feature can be extended so that if any smart phone goes missing, Killswitch will be sent to the last location where he can consume all the beer in the area.

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.
