This looks interesting. If you have any personal experience with using this app, or know of someone who has used it, please post a report up here of what happened.

According to their website, the app will soon be available on Google play,

http://tktapp.co.uk

iTunes preview here,

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ticket-appeal/id858570665?mt=8

For iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and iTellthecounciltofuckoff    :rotfl:

Be interesting to hear what the actual recognised authority on parking makes of it.

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.

Sadly, a pretty amateur effort.

The input form could be designed to establish the council name and address from the PCN number but does not.  This information has to be input manually.

The list of grounds for appealing is limited and did not include the grounds I am appealing.

The app contains a blatant spelling error.

So you pay your £3.99 and get a PDF template letter and get limited suggestions as to what grounds you can appeal on.

And the template letter uses the American date format.

Whilst the idea is good, it is clearly written by someone who wants to make money by writing an app rather that anybody with any parking knowledge.

Oh dear! The uninitiated shells out £3.99 and probably ends up having to pay the penalty anyway.

2/10 must try harder.    <Smack>

I can now attach the letter generated by the app (complete with schoolboy errors).
