I think this is a Lambeth $car. He's got the trifecta up -

1. On the pavement
2. On a dropped kerb
3. Dangerously close to a bend

Stockport warden caught parking on double yellow lines

A traffic warden has been caught on camera parking on double yellow lines while he gave out a ticket.

The officer left his own car on double yellows while issuing a ticket to a vehicle left in a disabled bay in Arthur Street in Stockport, the Manchester Evening News reports.

Stockport Council said he should not have parked there earlier this week.

It has identified the warden and "will ensure the appropriate action is taken to avoid a repetition".

A Stockport Council spokesperson said the incident involved the Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) "issuing a penalty charge notice to a vehicle parked in a disabled bay without displaying a blue badges.

"However, CEOs should not park on double yellow lines to issue penalty charge notices.

"We have identified the CEO involved in the incident and will ensure the appropriate action is taken to avoid a repetition."

When dismissing perfectly reasonable mitigating reasons, Councils like to condescendingly point out the nearest place the motorist could have parked in a way that was not completely selfish and would not inconvenience nor endanger the public (especially children). Would anyone on here be able to instruct the Council where the weasel might have alternatively left his vehicle?

If you are unable to spot it, I will accept 'up his pig-ignorant arsehole' as an answer.
Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.

The sad thing about this one is that the car is parked LEGALLY within a marked bay. Here's a link.

Isn’t it ironic? Traffic warden parks on double yellow lines to dish out tickets

The traffic warden van was spotted in Dunfermline over the weekend

It seems as if irony is lost on some people.

Love them or loathe them, traffic wardens could be forgiven for going about their daily business and ticketing cars which flout parking laws.

But Fife Council has come in for some criticism after one over-zealous traffic warden was spotted going about his business over the weekend – having himself parked on double yellow lines.

The incident was caught on camera in Dunfermline’s Walmer Drive at around midday on Sunday morning, and left some locals speechless.

“You wouldn’t credit it,” one told The Courier.

“The guy parks on a double yellow, gets out and starts giving tickets to people.

“Unreal.”

The spot the warden chose to park on is within a couple of hundred yards of a large council-run car park.

The warden decided not to use the large council-run car park at the bottom of Walmer Drive.

In response, Tony McRae, lead professional for parking and public transport infrastructure management at Fife Council, said: “Parking attendants are exempt from most parking restrictions whilst carrying out their duties.

“Whilst they will always seek alternative, non-restricted parking, this is not always possible to enable them to undertake their enforcement duties.”

Fury as wardens park on double yellow lines while handing out tickets

AN INFURIATED passer-by was left stunned when she came across parking wardens parked on double yellow lines as they handed out tickets to motorists for the same offence.

Lorraine Graham snapped parking wardens on Wexham Street near to the entrance to Wexham Park Hospital last week, and was shocked to see that the wardens had parked on double yellow lines while they handed out tickets to other motorists.

Mrs Graham, who is from Twickenham but has been working in Slough for the last three years, said: "I often see them there. It is infuriating.

"As you come off the roundabout, the road is narrow and they always park at the end of the road. Buses or ambulances come through all the time and cars have to stop."

A Slough Borough Council spokesman confirmed that civil enforcement officers (CEOs) are allowed to park on single and double yellow lines, as well as resident parking bays, pay and display bays and in all car parks, while they are carrying out their duty.

The irony of this Havering $camera car is it is nearly always at this location but usually forward of this position on the lead out of the bus stop but not in the marked bus stop as it is on this occasion. It sits there picking off anyone who drops someone off or picks up from either of the bus stops it can view from there (assuming there are no busses in the stand behind them [note; bus is in the stand in front on this visit]). Since having their wings clipped and being unable to use video equipped cars for parking enforcement Havering have fully embraced every opportunity to enforce at schools to the enth degree and to use said equipped cars at bus stops, as much as a single tyre on a kerb anywhere, MTV, bus gates and much more besides to raise revenue for the authority. Much is being spent on military grade fixed cameras enforcing no right turns and yellow boxes as they are so lucrative.

The latest piggy bank is exiting B&Q at Gallows Corner, there is no right turn, instead you are supposed to bear left from the car park, and go right around the nearby roundabout to return to the A12 traffic lights. The store has been there for around 20 years and it has never been an issue to turn right and make the light change and when busy go left and join the cue.
