« on: 15 March, 2011, 09:52:30 AM »
I'm waiting for replies from the council and police
REGARDING GLOBE LANE

Apparently there were 2 no entry's signs which have been removed and replaced by no vehicular traffic, but they haven't updated this yet, as it on their website as the lastest changes, on roads in Medway

Just amazing - I am so often tempted to go and move the temporary signs on New Cut when there are events on, as they are added at such a height and placing on the pole that they completely obscure the visibility towards the station for anyone trying to turn onto Railway Street. But putting a pole directly in front of the sign....

Well after so many months of Globe Lane being a no entry, they must have read my post as it has only now been amended on the above link... as of 15/04/2011
Regarding my FOI to Medway police, some very interesting results there!!! .....not in Medway Councils favour! Mmmm (skeletons)

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

They have now got back to me and with an unreadable email, so Ive ask to pick a hard copy up, and they have agreed.
so if there contravening parking... that must mean that:-

They are NOT allowed in a pedestrian High St with no vehicular access except disabled
or to go through ANY no vehicular traffic except for access....or a pedestrian High St with no stopping clearway!! As they are stopping to enforce!!

Seem to recall "Camera enforcement should only to be used where it would be difficult or dangerous for a CEO to enforce on foot"?

Difficult to enforce on foot - in a pedestrian area?  W:T:F: Oh yes, perhaps - it is Medway!  :pmsl:
