Direct Access for motorbikes

My daughter, Krys (in a long list of my family who ride or rode motorcycles) wants to get her UK motorcycle licence, she already has a UK car licence.

Her question was is there a cheaper but good Direct Access group around, the one her friend listed was £800; that is a lot of money, Krys needs it to get her full cycle licence.


BTW: I am in Ireland and trying to sell my house. If sold at the asking price I will have double my money. Still not enough to buy a disused shoe box in UK though.

I may have the wrong words. But I want my daughter to have a bike licence, like her father and his father before him.

To be honest, £800 sounds like the going rate for amywhere near London.

Cheers for your help. very expensive deal for motor-cyclist. I never paid more than $25. I still ride. These rules do not make a better cager!
