Westminster $chunt 23rd April 2011
« on: 23 April, 2011, 08:06:38 PM »
Hi guys,   ;D

I met up with Nealr at the garage in Strood, 7.30 and we ventured up to meet Kiwi at his pad,...I know Ive been there twice....but I over shot his close :schucks: and pulled up down the road just decided to turn round and then Kiwi pulls up beside us, as he was going to the shop :P (I'm useless at navigation as most of you know :schucks:  :rotfl:)
We all ventured on to Camely St...and tea and Bacon sarnies was scrummy!
BE arrived later  :aplude: he was back from his holiday, the arrived Belpasca and a slighty hungover Killswitch  :P, then Coca arrived  ;D ....good to see you all again  ;D
as some of us had arrived, myself  Nealr,  Kiwi, & Coco took off to look at Saville Row, with no luck we ventured to a few more honeypots, (its now starting to get very warm) We decided to check the pen out as it was Tea time! and lucky we did there was the driver.. ready to go....so off to Fifth Ave...where we stayed for a long time, lots of locals chatting and let us know their contempt for the $cars!! we grabbed a cold drink from the shop which was (nice) and were all starting to melt! :rotfl: Kiwi took off to go and help Killswitch who had found a $car enforcing at Cllifton road,  :aplude:
At one point we were all back at the pen..... and have good laugh and especially  (pigs) :pmsl: Must thank NEALR for the sponge tip...oh and the sponge he gave me  8)...which Ive just realised is still in my helmet... I'm really must get round to taking that out  8)... it helped a great deal....but also pouring water over head did...very refreshing 8)
We also all ending metting up Saville Row at one point all assisting...whist i having a photo taken the $car made a run for.. But BE was first off in hot pursuit...followed by me... and then we look back and it was suitable being assisted by all  :pmsl:

We finshed assisting at around 4.30 back at the pen, BE then shot off,  we all decided to go and see Pepper at Bexley (had a good chat and a laugh ...with the thunder and lighting above us)... we all soon ventured home for 7.30

I played pink taxi with Kiwi (got him) but it was close :schucks: and later when he did see one, he was to far away to get me  :pmsl: so Kiwi is it  :pmsl:  :P :P :P na na..........it was a really good fun day today, although very very hot...

My day started at Camley St with a very tasty heart attack on a plate  :dancing:

I then made my way to O St where there was only three cars, so then went to Clifton Rd and BINGO, I got my $car  :dancing:

So I'm standing there doing what we do, a car goes to do a right turn which causes me to leap into action, so I stop the driver spending £120 and then I hear a load of clapping.  I look behind me and sitting at the tables outside the pub is group of people giving me a round of applause  :rotfl: :rotfl:  and then again each time I leap into action, aahhh I just love my public, it was good to be back amongst them  :-ev-:

It's not long before I get a call from Kiwi, who then joins me, a short while later the $car makes his way back to the pen, with escort of course.

A little while later Coco, Belplasca and BE join us, then not long after that a $car shows up being escorted by MG and NEALR, but $car goes straight past with MG and NEALR continuing their escort, oh well maybe well maybe we'll chat with them later.

Not a lot to tell after that, MG and NEALR escort their $car back,  a few of us then follow a $car out, but he's only doing parking so we return to the pen.  MG and NEALR then go $chunting, myself and BE then also go $chunting, we end up parked at Saville Row and are joined by MG and NEALR, then a couple of minutes later a $car arrives.....escorted by Belplasca and Coco, so the assisting starts, it's at this point I had to bail out and make my way to Bexley for a BBQ...nearly as good as the heart attack on a plate  :rotfl:  anyway the thunder and lightning start so I make my way back to Hackney before the rain starts to fall...... I failed, and was too bone idle to stop and put my jacket on so I got soaked  :bashy: that rain can really sting when t hits you at, err 40mph ;D

So, that was my day.........and now my night starts...........but don't worry Kiwi, I won't be late :-ev-: :-ev-:

Thoroughly enjoyed most of my first proper Westminster $chunt, just the worries about a possible redlight camera  >:D on Euston Road  :schucks:

Harder work than I'd expected - my concentration was definitely suffering a bit towards the end of the day, but the chats with the public and saving at least 2 at 5th Avenue was nice.  :dancing:  as was the chilled refreshment provided by MG  :aplude:

Lots of laughter and good company  ;D - the catch up from Saville Row was great fun, escorting the $car with 5 of us like that felt a bit like a scene from Kill Bill.
