This is probably a long shot but if any one has one the rack especially for sale I would be gratefull.  There seem to be a few different models of the same bike...lol as Ive already bought one wrong one from ebay.

How different are the fittings / mount points? Is it something that could be adjusted / adapted to fit or is it too different?

I have some assorted bits of tubular stuff knocking around but all from older bikes. Can sometimes still be made to fit a different machine though....

rs2k - not unless one from a GT550 display would work. They've also got a voltmeter input and are driven by an ignition pulse. Would take a bit of time to dig through to the bike and then dismantle the clocks though.
If I did it might persuade me to swap the speedo as my trip meter has failed but I can't be bothered just for that, main mileage still works.
Wouldn't be very soon though, got 2 weekends out of the loop coming up and my evenings are busy.
I seem to remember Maplin did an electronic counter kit that ran off a pulse input - but I think it only read to 9,999 and was a bit bulky. Don't know if they still do it either.
