Epic Fail  followed by  double face palm

  It has been popularly supposed on the internet that if an infinite number of monkeys had an infinite number of keyboards, they would eventually type out the entire works of William Shakespeare. The Councils are conducting a similar experiment involving monkeys and paint brushes.

 :bashy:
Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.

So they're asking all the bus drivers to park on zigzags and put themselves on offer for a £60 fine plus 3 points are they?
Can't see many bus drivers doing that somehow!

that bus stop used to have a single yellow line with dodge doubles at the end. then they put a yellow bus stop box there. I ride that way most days, can't believe I didn't notice this one.Has W:T:F:

Crossing Zig-Zags at a bus stop eh? Well that takes the biscuit.

They do not deserve to be conducting any DPE. Take it out of their hands and give it to a responsible body. They are obviously not up to the job.

Can someone get a photo of a bus stopping there before Medway do something about it now that we have exposed it. Do not need the VRN of the bus.

Good news is that only the Police can enforce parking on pedestrian crossings, so Medway won't get any money from it!  ;D

All councils including Medway enforce crossing Zig Zags:

Parking enforcement

Medway Civil Enforcement Officers patrol all of the Medway area and cover on and off-street parking, including;

    car parks;
    residential areas;
    disabled bays;
    permit-only areas;
    all single and double yellow lines;
    school markings;
    pay and display areas;
    bus lane and bus stop enforcement;
    vehicles stopping on a pedestrian crossing area marked by white zig-zag lines;
    vehicles parked on dropped footways without permission;
    double parked vehicles.

Well I stand corrected - in that there London, it's done by Police because it's an endorsable offence - obviously the Law is different in Kent!

I'm afaraid you might have to stand corrected again Dick, cos I know for a fact that Wastemonster enforce zig zag lines via their static cameras too. I've seen the videos. :(

Don't worry DD Zig Zags are being painted on Tube Station Platforms as we speak WCC think they are on a winner with this one and no one will notice. :pmsl:
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

Now that's a brilliant idea! A £120.00 penalty for every passenger on the train - every time it stops. That should solve the budget deficit problem, leave a surplus to cover the annual bonus for selected members and officers and possibly cover the cost of the Christmas party too!
