Umm "The scheme, funded by the Mayor of London" ? Don't they mean "The scheme, funded by the tax payers of Greater London"? Or is Boris paying out of his own pocket???

now the big question is will this be done proberley i will be going down there on monday when this is due to come into force and look at the signage and road marking ect and i will post my report along with pics on monday/tuseday


now i am takeing bets on

if its going to be done right

or is going to be wrong ?

I don't see why TfL are getting involved in this - the only roads they own are the TLRN (red routes), and I gather these roads are not red routes. I don't see how any of these new bays/boxes will be enforceable without road markings, otherwise how does the motorist know which one they're allowed to park in and which they're not?

Seems to me it may well be a case of, Signage designed to mislead or at least confuse. Lets face it, if it only confuses people for a few months it would still be worth £1000's
