A new Googlemap innovation that will help us
« on: 07 May, 2014, 11:44:16 AM »
In the past we have used Googlemaps to help us understand what is happening in certain locations regarding enforcement. To date we have only been able to view the most recent images depending on the last time the Googlemapping car last visited. What it didn't allow us to do was view previous images.

Thankfully that has now changed. ;D

A "New" button has suddenly appeared in the top left corner (need Ewan's help with a screen capture here please) that allows you to look back over the history of photos taken by Googlemaps at various venues.

What this will allow us to do is look at the way in which enforcement has developed at various locations, particularly the signs and lines that have been in place previously.

More grist to the parking campaigner's mill. ;) ;D :dancing:

A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice

Appealing to the council is like playing chess with a pigeon. You might be a chess grand master but the pigeon will always knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around triumphantly.
