Another PiP?
« on: 06 June, 2011, 06:30:50 PM »
From TransportXtra: http://www.transportxtra.com/magazines/parking_review/news/?id=26775

The London boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea are laying plans to jointly manage highways, transport and parking services, and halve management costs. The two boroughs are progressing proposals to share senior management as part of work to reduce the impact of funding reductions on frontline services. The plans would see 14 highways, transport and parking managers at the two authorities either losing their jobs or re-deployed elsewhere.

My trial membership has expired but maybe somebody else should sign up so we can see the rest of the story and anything else of interest?

My free trial has also expired. There was talk of a Tri-Borough Merger with Westminster as well.
