Had an excellent day's $chunting and gathering intel into the workings of Waltham Forest's NSL depot.

One thing of particular interest was to see the reactions of the two drivers who were sitting in two out of the three cars that were at the pen when 8 $chunters arrived for escort duties. They were obviously ready to leave, but immediately after we appeared the drivers disappeared back into NSL's offices.

We then saw frantic phone calling going on inside the building, and about 20 minutes later a white Mercedes turned up. Turned out its driver was one of the people we had met at Parkex last Tuesday. He is one of the more senior district managers and he told us he happened to be passing and dropped in for a chat. I will let you draw your own conclusions as to why he was there, but bear in mind we also met Waltham Forest's head of parking , Karen Naylor at Parkex and she had assured us that her contractors would never run back to base just because we showed up, and that she welcomed our help in keeping the streets of Waltham Forest safe.

In light of that I think it's fairly safe to say that NSL guy had been called in to read the drivers the Riot Act, and to tell them to get out and do their jobs. Well it seemed to have the desired effect because about 15 minutes after NSL guy's arrival, drivers with faces like thunder started to go out.

BGB, Killswitch and Kiwi took the first $car, Tom Tom, Coco and Monkey Girl took the second, and me and Parking Warrior took the third. I have to commend the driver of the $car we followed because he went out and did his job properly, he was polite, and although he obviously didn't want our attention he was in no way obstructive or hostile. Consequently, what followed for the next two and a bit hours was some of the best $chunting I have ever experienced. There was a constant procession of drivers giving us thumbs up and tooting their horns and one guy insisted on shaking our hands and congratulating us on what a brilliant job he thinks we are doing.

Unfortunately for BGB, Killswitch and BGB however, their driver was not so accommodating, but I will let them tell that particular story. Suffice it to say he obviously did not want our help and he went to some extreme lengths to avoid getting it.

The driver of the car BGB, Kiwi and myself followed, can only be described as a complete wanker!

This guy DID NOT indicate a single time whilst we were with the car, and on two occasions he performed emergency stops for no other reason than to cause me to drive into the back of the car.

Driver, if you're reading this you're a complete fucking prick mate, but you forget, you're dealing with the NoToMob who would never do anything to endanger someone else, NSL employee's again showing that some of them are simply pond life!

Please say you've got this on video, and are sending a copy to Karen Naylor?

Kiwi was the only one with a camera, but I don't think he caught it.

We really need to get this f**king idiot on camera and get him the sack! I thought that one of the reasons for getting these $cars was for road safety!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Beer in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a  ride!!"

I think for future $chunts, we need the camera riders up front. The footage then needs to be shown to the rozzers. It's time these weasels sat on the other end of camera enforcement. Tsk, tsk, Pat, road safety indeed!

Could I suggest that if you have more than one person with video then have one at the front and one further back so that distances etc can be judged?
If you have the camera behind the $car with nothing in between the distance isn't easily measurable (and NSL could turn round and say "well, he's right up our vehicle's a***, and he should be XX yards back") wheras if you have another object - like a bike - in between then it's fairly blatantly obvious. It could also show that if there's nothing in front of the $car possibly doing stupid braking that it's a deliberate act by the NSL driver, not something he/she is forced to do by some other numpty.

Perhaps Mr Hanslip would care to look into this type of behavior by an NSL employee........ Oh wait it is not affecting the revenue stream! why the fuck would he?

He might pull the driver in for a bollocking if the lads prevented him from saving the lives of any tiddly peeps that day.
