The VCA Have now issued another Backdated Certificate to Wirral detailing and Naming The Cameras and Recording Device used. This shows that the original Certificate they held was Not Fit for Purpose. The situation in Bexley is no different.

I have no doubt that The VCA will do the same for Bexley. The problem is The LAs will say that as they applied for The Certification of the devices used they were Certificated. If that is the case why have they now been issued Backdated Corrected Certificates?

The LB of Hounslow have also now been supplied with TWO Backdated Certificates (going back to 2009!) for their Town Centre Fixed Cameras. I also believe that The VCA have supplied them with another Backdated Certificate for their Mobile Enforcement Vehicles. Prior to this Hounslow had NO Certificates whatsoever for these devices.

In a telephone call that I had with The VCA this morning they say that there is no problem with them issuing these Backdated Certificates. The VCA also informed me that a "Certificate was unnecessary" an email would do! If this is the case why issue them?

So LAs are now (due to all the publicity and delving) producing Backdated Certificates out of a hat that they previously did not hold.

They are all obviously rallying round and defending each other.

How about we tell WCC when we get nicked for not paying the "only a pound" to park, we want to back date the payment, so instead of paying a £60 fine we back date and pay the pound.
this is just corruption at all levels.

Perhaps I could try this with my LA if I get a PCN for parking and then paying when I get rumbled.


Or a backdated Insurance certificate should I need one, Sheeeesh one law for them and one for us or what?
